Namaste, we warmly welcome you to India. At the airport, in Mumbai, one of our staff awaits you and takes you to your hotel, where you can check in in peace and quiet. After checking in you have the time to recover.
Today you will get to know the liveliest city in India. This beats the heart of the international film industry, affectionately known as Bollywood. You take a trip to the Elephanta Caves. Drive to the Gateway of India and walk to the boat dock. The island of Elephanta is about an hour away from Mumbai. Elephanta Caves have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987, worshiping the god Shiva. In the afternoon we visit the Dhobi Ghat - the laundry in Mumbai. Continue to the Prince of Wales Museum, the hanging gardens on Malabar Hill, Kamala Nehru Park and the Tower of Silence, where the Parsi make their burials according to ancient rites. In the evening, take a stroll on Marine Drive, Mumbai's seafront promenade. Overnight in Mumbai.

Today, after breakfast, leave the coast and head inland to experience the tranquility of rural India at its best and practice outdoor yoga under the ancient ruins of Hampi, which are spread out over the hills by boulders. Transfer from the hotel in Goa to the station Vasco da Gama (VSG) here you will take the train to Hospet. The Howrah Express leaves Vasco da Gama at 07.10 in the morning and arrives in Hospet at 14.55. Arrived you drive to your hotel to check in. At sunset, go to Hanuman Temple. Birthplace of the Monkey God and settle there for some yoga exercises. Overnight in Hampi.
In the morning, set out for an outdoor yoga session under the ancient ruins of Hampi. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of Hampi. The historic place is a World Heritage Center. You will visit the famous Vithala Temple with its stone chariots and the Lakshmi Narasimha - a giant statue of the god Narasimha and one of the finest examples of sculpture in Hampi. After breakfast, leave Hampi today. You drive about 330 km to Hassan. Upon arrival, you will check in at the hotel. Rest of the day you have to the free disposal. Overnight in Hassan.
First, take a trip to Shravanabelagola. Shravanabelagola is one of the most important pilgrim centers of Jainism. They devoutly mount the holy mountain Jain, where the largest monolithic statue in the world stands. In the afternoon you drive to the temple complexes Belur and Halebid. Thousands of filigree carved sculptures adorn the facades of the religious buildings. The delicate reliefs are among the most significant examples of the architecture of the Hoysala kings. Today after breakfast drive to Mysore. In the afternoon you will visit the historic city of Mysore, including the magnificent Maharaja Palace of Mysore and the temple on Chamundi Mountains with the huge statue of Shiva's bull Nandi. Overnight in Mysore.
Today you will go to the famous Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore for a yoga class and to talk about modern yoga history and philosophy. Overnight in Mysore
Today after breakfast you leave Mysore for the last leg of the tour. A few relaxing days of yoga and Ayurveda in tropical Kerala. It takes approximately 4 hours to get to Bangalore Airport for your flight to Cochin. Upon arrival in Cochin drive to Fort Cochin and check in at the hotel. Overnight in Cochin.
After breakfast, go on sightseeing in Cochin. You will visit the Mattencherry Palace, the Jewish Synagogue and the tomb of the Portuguese navigator Vasco da Gama in the St. Francis Church. The famous Chinese fishing nets in the harbor look like from a bygone era. In the evening you have the opportunity to experience a traditional Kathakali dance show. Overnight in Kochi.
Today after breakfast drive to the Ayurveda Resort and in the evenings yoga classes are offered and there is the possibility of Ayurveda treatments in the hotel. Overnight in Kumarakom.

Today you start your return flight to Germany. You drive from Kumarakom to the airport of Cochin for your return flight. Here ends your round trip.
